This is a part-time (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) on-site role. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. Additional tasks include patient education, managing follow-up appointments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice optometry in Ontario
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in using optometric equipment and technology
- Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care
- Experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases is a plus
