This is a part-time (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) on-site role. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. Additional tasks include patient education, managing follow-up appointments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Current license to practice optometry in Ontario
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in using optometric equipment and technology
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care
  • Experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases is a plus
