Full-time/Part-time Associate Optometrist Opportunity In Edmonton and Leduc, AB with potential for future Partnership.
Responsibilities
• Perform detailed eye exams and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration).
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (glasses and contacts).
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for ocular surgeries.
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Stay current with optometric advancements and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license with the Alberta College of Optometrists.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Work Environment
• Clinical and retail settings.
• May include evenings/weekends.
