Come join our Optometry practice in Beamsville! Beamsville is located in West Niagara - we have the benefits of practicing in a small town with loyal patients in a close-knit community, but we are also located close enough to the big cities, like St. Catharines (20mins), Hamilton (30mins), Burlington (30mins) and the GTA (~1 hour) to enjoy the conveniences and entertainment of larger city centers. Beamsville is located in the heart of Ontario’s wine country and is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and bodies of water for endless activities, like golfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more. Our Optometry office has been in practice at this location for over 25 years and has a longstanding reputation in our community for providing exceptional patient care with top-notch technology to families in and around the Niagara area. Dr. Wylie Tan acquired this office in 2021 and we are expanding our team to help better serve the needs of our rapidly growing and loyal patient base. We have recently renovated our office and are a full-scope dispensening practice with 2 fully equipped exam lanes. Our staff are an integral part of our success. We have cross-trained, very experienced staff members, who take care of all bookings, billings, pretesting (ARK/iCare/Optomap/OCT/HVF) and dispensing.

● Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution

Associate Optometrist (Locum Opportunity)

We are looking for an Associate Optometrist to join our busy, full-scope dispensing practice for a maternity leave locum position. New grads are welcome to apply.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed minimum income of $17,000/month
- Expected earnings of $20,000–$25,000/month
- Monday–Friday only — no evenings or weekends
- Approximately 65 patients/week (13/day)
- 4 days/week in Timmins + 1 day/week in Iroquois Falls
- Modern equipment including Optomap (Monaco = Macula OCT in pre-testing), OCT, LipiScan, LipiFlow/IPL/RF, and MacuMira. Auto-Phoropters.
- Established dispensing office with a 92–95% capture rate
- 50% rent support available for up to 6 months
