We are seeking a friendly and personable, experienced optometrist who is seeking a longer term position, therefore values relationship building with patients and will take time to do their best exam for each one of them. Currently we are offering 1-2 days per week. Our schedule is structured to fit 8-10 comprehensive exams per day. As well, minor exams, contact lenses, myopic management and surgical co-management. Incredible opportunity in beautiful Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island for a Full-time Optometrist in a very busy independent practice that was established in 1988 and moved to a fresh new location in 2024. This opportunity is for both employment and optional future partnership and would begin immediately.
This position would be between our brand new location that is fully equipped with all the latest technology including: Spectralis OCT, Optomap, Humphrey Field Analyzer 3, Optilight IPL, HBM-1 Optical biometer/topographer. The practice includes a large bright dispensary, dry eye spa room, and warm patient centered environment. We are also fortunate to be neighbors with a large ophthalmology clinic and cataract surgical centre, making this an ideal eye center.
Our Optometrists have the support of 10-15 staff and your job would be to simply provide excellent care while they take care of the rest.
Compensation would include a guaranteed minimum salary along with compensation based on production, health insurance, Group RRSP, and a happy, comfortable work environment.
